First Bags in Hand
A few of our first bags arrived yesterday via UPS overnight. Really this shouldn’t be a big deal. I mean, we printed tons of mock-ups, we have been using the prototype bags for months. Somehow, however, it is a big deal.
The graphics printed really well which was a relief because they had never printed on this type of paper before. We popped a bag and everything looks and worked as it should. The bag is a little bigger than than the prototype bags and this made the shaking and mixing work better. All went as expected. A rare and wonderful thing.
So why is this a big deal? Somehow holding this thing, and looking at our brand, our and your ideas, printed on the bag made this whole endeavor feel a little more real. I know it’s cliche and cheesy, but it just did. It’s a great feeling. It’s also a little unsettling. The product is becoming real, but there is no way to know if it will stick.
Next, the other 10,000 bags are going to our organic non-GMO popcorn supplier who will fill, fold, and seal the bags. Then they get get loaded on pallets and shipped to us.
